Mark your calendar and plan on being on-hand for the Philadelphia Sportswriters Association's annual Awards dinner on Monday night, January 26, 2009.
Yeah, it sounds like a long way off ... the Phillies season isn't over yet, and the Eagles have barely started their run for the Super Bowl.
But time has a way of flying, and it'll be here before you know it.
I'm glad to report that after much discussion, the Sportswriters have decided to do our share to help reign in this national financial crisis, and tickets will remain at $75. The price has been set at $75 for quite some time now.
This is arguably the best sports bargain in town.
